Question 1

What is Yugo?

Accepted Answer

Yugo is a white glove moving and logistics company based in Toronto, serving private clients and businesses across the Greater Toronto Area, with long distance moves throughout Ontario and to Montreal. Our services include residential and estate relocations, office and commercial moves, white glove delivery and installation, fine art and specialty logistics, packing, and storage. We work with homeowners, interior designers, retailers, galleries, and brands.

Question 2

What is white glove moving?

Accepted Answer

White glove moving is a more managed approach to relocation. The move is planned in advance around the home, access, inventory, timing, and any pieces requiring special handling. Depending on the service level, Yugo can also manage packing, furniture protection, disassembly and reassembly, placement, unpacking, and home setup.

Question 3

Does Yugo work with both private clients and businesses?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Yugo works with private clients moving homes and estates, as well as interior designers, galleries, retailers, offices, property teams, and other businesses requiring moving, delivery, installation, or specialty logistics.

Question 4

What is the difference between white glove moving and standard moving?

Accepted Answer

Standard moving is primarily about getting belongings from one address to another. White glove moving considers the entire relocation, including planning, property protection, handling requirements, placement, coordination, and the level of involvement you want from the moving team. The scope changes between service levels. The standard of care does not.

Question 5

Where does Yugo provide moving and logistics services?

Accepted Answer

Yugo serves Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, with long distance moves throughout Ontario and between Toronto and Montreal. This includes residential moves, commercial projects, white glove delivery, and specialty logistics.

Question 6

Does Yugo handle single items as well as complete relocations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A Yugo project can involve a single piece, several items, or the contents of an entire home or workplace. The crew, equipment, protection, and handling plan are determined by what is being moved rather than simply how much there is.

Question 7

How does Yugo handle artwork, antiques, and other valuable pieces?

Accepted Answer

Pieces requiring additional care are identified before the project begins so the appropriate handling, protection, documentation, and transport method can be planned in advance. Yugo handles fine art, antiques, sculptures, pianos, wine collections, and other fragile, valuable, or oversized pieces, with custom crating available where required.

Question 8

Does Yugo provide packing, storage, and installation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Yugo provides packing and unpacking, short term storage and receiving, furniture assembly, placement, installation support, and packaging removal. These services can be included as part of a larger relocation or arranged around the requirements of an individual project.

Question 9

How far in advance should I contact Yugo?

Accepted Answer

For most residential moves, we recommend contacting Yugo at least two weeks in advance. Larger estate relocations and projects involving packing, specialty handling, multiple destinations, or extensive coordination should ideally begin four to six weeks ahead. Shorter timelines can often be accommodated depending on availability and scope.

Question 10

How does Yugo price a project?

Accepted Answer

Yugo quotes a fixed price for the agreed scope. The quote considers the inventory, crew, locations, access, distance, timing, handling requirements, and any additional services such as packing, storage, crating, or installation. The agreed scope and price are set out before the project begins.
