How far ahead should I book a move in Peel?

Condo buildings

Most condos ask for an elevator or loading dock booking, a deposit and a certificate of insurance before move day, and many allow moves only in set hours. We send the certificate to your building at no charge, and arrange the booking ourselves where your quote says so.

Houses and older homes

Houses in Peel range from older homes near the lake to large executive homes in Castlemore, some gated, and country properties in Caledon. From March 1 to April 30, Peel limits axles to 5,000 kg on listed Regional roads such as Olde Base Line Road and Forks of the Credit Road, so spring moves there are routed and sized to suit.

Parking and timing

In Mississauga, street parking is limited to five hours unless signed, never from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m., and the City's temporary permits do not cover commercial or heavy vehicles. In Caledon East, trucks are barred from parts of Airport Road and Old Church Road until the end of 2027, with local deliveries allowed. We confirm where the truck will stand and how it will get there before the day.
