Moving in Toronto
White glove moving in Toronto
Yugo is based in Toronto and moves homes and businesses in every part of the city: houses, condos, estates and offices, from the lake to the 401 and beyond.
Each move is planned around the building as much as the home. Condo move windows, older staircases, parking and timing are worked out before the crew arrives.

Before the day
Moving in Toronto: what we plan for
Condo buildings
Toronto condos often ask for an elevator booking, a damage deposit and a certificate of insurance before move day, and many allow moves only on set days, in four-hour elevator slots. We send our certificate of insurance to your building at no charge, and where your quote includes it, we book the elevator and loading dock for you.
Houses and older homes
Narrow staircases, tight landings and original floors are measured and protected before anything is lifted. Large pieces that will not turn a corner are planned for, not discovered on the day.
Parking and timing
Toronto lets moving vans park on the street while they are actively loading or unloading, but posted signs still apply and unsigned streets have a three-hour limit. We plan loading space, parking and arrival times ahead, and set the day around traffic so the crew arrives when the building expects us.
