Moving in Mississauga

White glove moving in Mississauga

Yugo moves homes and businesses across Mississauga, from condos around Square One and in Port Credit to family homes in Erin Mills and larger properties in Lorne Park and Mineola, planned and dispatched from our Toronto base.

Each move is planned around the building and the street: the elevator or loading dock, where the truck will stand, and how long it can stay there.

Before the day

Moving in Mississauga: what we plan for

Condo buildings

Downtown Mississauga keeps adding towers, and M City alone will bring more than 5,000 homes. Most buildings ask for an elevator or loading dock booking, a deposit and a certificate of insurance before move day. We send the certificate at no charge and book the dock where your quote says so.

Heritage and older homes

Meadowvale Village, Old Port Credit Village and, since December 2024, Streetsville are heritage conservation districts. Older houses tend to have narrow doors, steep stairs and original floors, so we measure and protect before anything is lifted.

Parking and timing

Street parking is limited to five hours unless signed, and never allowed from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. The City's temporary permits exclude commercial vehicles, so we plan around your driveway or your building's dock. From March 1 to April 30, load limits apply on roads such as Mississauga Road, and spring moves are routed to suit.
