Moving in Richmond Hill

White glove moving in Richmond Hill

Yugo moves homes and businesses across Richmond Hill, planned and dispatched from our Toronto base: family homes on large lots, homes around Lake Wilcox and Oak Ridges, and condos near Yonge Street and Highway 7.

The north of the city sits on the Oak Ridges Moraine, around Lake Wilcox. Access, parking and timing are planned before the day, wherever the home is.

Before the day

Moving in Richmond Hill: what we plan for

Condo buildings

Richmond Hill Centre, at Yonge Street and Highway 7, is a provincially designated growth centre. Most towers ask for an elevator or loading dock booking, a deposit and a certificate of insurance before move day. We send the certificate at no charge and book the dock where your quote says so.

Larger homes and lots

Neighbourhoods such as Mill Pond, Bayview Hill and South Richvale have homes on generous lots. We check driveway length, turning room and the walk to the door before the day, and protect floors before anything is carried.

Parking and timing

Street parking is limited to three hours between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Overnight it is not allowed from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. between December 1 and March 31, or from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. the rest of the year. The City's temporary permits exclude vehicles over 5.2 m long or 3,000 kg, so we plan around your driveway.
